Hello, my name is Derek Long. I'm an Audio Engineer, Guitarist, Songwriter, and Music Producer from Ohio, based in LA. Shoot me an email with any questions or concerns. I'm very laid back and open to negotiation.
I am a Mastering Engineer based out of Houston TX. I have 20 years of experience in the field. My career started at SugarHill Recording Studios- wearing many hats from intern to Chief Staff Engineer, to Mastering Engineer. I also trained under Dave McNair learning techniques for vinyl production.
I am a songwriter, producer, session musician, and arranger based in Austin, TX. I have toured, recorded and performed with some of Austin's finest such as Spoon, Golden Dawn Arkestra, Walker Lukens, A Giant Dog, David Ramirez and Riverboat Gamblers. Additionally I have released my own music as S. L. Houser and formerly Löwin.
