Producer, engineer & multi-instrumentalist for Electronic Music, Pop, Indie & Rock. With years of experience, professional equipment and a fine musical and human sense, I will help you realize your musical project. Together we will shape your sound with a high recognition value that will excite your audience.
I’m Wilhelm Wockenfuß,
music producer, dipl.-engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and electronic live artist from Dresden, Germany. I offer you everything around music production in my studio or remote: composition, sound design, recording, mixing & mastering.
Over the years I’ve played and produced as a solo artist (Wilhelm Richard) and in various bands, big bands & choirs in the fields of classical music, jazz, rock, pop, metal and electronic music. This has not only increased my understanding of music across genres, but also my multi-instrumental and compositional skills. So I can support you and your project practically and with a lot of know-how on drums, piano, guitar, bass, synthesizers, saxophone and vocals.
I’m looking forward to support you in the production of your personal music. Through good communication and close collaboration we will make sure your music sounds great, professional and reflects your vision.
Whether you're looking for mixing services or production services, please provide as much information as possible about your project (number of tracks or stems, style of music, your desired timeline). In this way I can give you the most detailed answer and help to ensure that your project is completed to your absolute satisfaction.

Wilhelm helped me to denoise und de-click some vintage field recordings I had found in rather bad condition.
Easy communication, he got a really good quality of it and it didn't take long.Thank you, would recommend!

Interview with Wilhelm Wockenfuß
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: What I love the most about my job is making music everyday with great people all around the world. Seeing my clients 100% happy with the final product, whether it is a fully produced track or just a mix or master, is the topping and gives me huge inspiration.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I work on a range of music from many sub-genres on Electronic Music up to Pop, Rock & Indie.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For Mixing and Mastering I ask my clients for 2-3 reference tracks to start my work on a good basis to quickly find the right sound. After a first Mix or Master we are discussing the feedback and turn it through revisions into the sound the client is searching for.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup is in an acoustically treated room (Listening room) and a separate larger recording room to ensure the most accurate and precise sound for my clients. The Music is running through an Arturia Audiofuse Studio interface to my HEDD Type 07 Mk2 Monitors and my Beyerdynamics DT Pro 1990 Headphones. I'm working mostly digital and I have an array of high quality plugins and software that will help me take a client's track to the next level.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Bonobo, FKJ, Olafur Arnalds, Ben Böhmer
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do for clients is Mixing & Mastering. But I also really love to produce music with all its types of work, like composing, recording & playing instruments (vocals, guitar, bass, drums, saxophones, percussion, piano, synthesizers, ...), editing, tuning vocals and more.
