Open minded session musician who loves playing any kind of music genre. 10+ years experience in bass/drums/guitar and formally studied orchestral percussion.
Multi instrumentalist, producer and composer, my main instrument is Keyboard and piano but I dedicate myself to sound design, digital edition, electronic percussion and Acoustic Guitar since 1991 when I got into the recording business. I am co-producer of Sergio Mendes' albums since 2008 with whom I have nominations for Oscar and Grammy.
I have played, worked with and learned from some of the big names in the business such as Bob Reynolds (John Mayer), Randy Brecker (Brecker Brothers), Bob Franceschini (Mike Stern) and Bobby Shew (Horace Silver, Buddy Rich).
Been playing with the most influential artists in my country for years and with some regional & international artists like Jean Alain Roussel, Phyllissia Ross, Pierpoljak, Yoann Freget, Maya Kamaty, Davy Sicard, Patrick Victor etc... I have acquire solid experiences and that's how I can make you smile when listening to your tracks with my bassline!
A Latin Grammy Foundation Scholar, Jimena is a bilingual singer, versatile songwriter and prolific pianist. Described as "A Future Alicia Keys" by world-class pianist Lang Lang, Jimena is known for her ability to write and perform in different styles from pop, Latin & EDM to jazz, musical theater and even classical.
Music Production and Sound Design Degree completed in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Guitar and Bass player mainly focused on feeling rather than virtuosity.
