Starting off as a drummer and continuing as an engineer, I've been involved in the music industry all of my professional career. I fell in love with mixing and mastering other artists' music. Hey, My name is Murph. I go by the name YMTK (Young Murph the kidd). I'm originally from Oakland, CA but I've lived in Los Angles for the last 10 years or so. I was raised with an appreciation for all different types of good music. My mom has been a gospel singer since she was a young girl & she definitely passed the love for music down to me.

In the process of getting an associates degree in Audio Production and Engineering at The Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis. I am currently Pro Tools user certified, and will be operator certified in November of 2015. I work in Pro Tools chiefly, but am also Logic Pro X certified.
