Hello Everyone. My name is Shawn Carter and I am a freelance music producer, engineer, mixing and mastering musical artists. I also sing and am a songwriter, plus DJ on occasion when I feel like it hah. There's not much I don't do in regards to music and audio for film so I'm always looking to meet awesome artists and make amazing art!
Nashville-based mix engineer whose credits span from the legendary Jars of Clay to the hit tv show The Chosen. I'm a mixer with an emphasis is in musicality, dynamic range, creativity and expression. I have mixed songs and records that have topped charts and radio in multiple genres. And no matter what, I always mix in support of the song or film.
My goal is to be a collaborator without boundaries of genre or sound - whatever your dream is, let's bring it to life! I want to help you bring your vision, energy and all of the elements of your project to your audience.

I am co-owner of Brighton Road Recording Studios and am available for remote mixing and production, as well as full recording projects at Brighton Road.
