Hi I am Steve. I started off doing FOH for artists (hitting the road with DFA 1979, Alexisonfire, Ill Scarlett, Protest The Hero) while building my studio chops in between. I work to create mixes that excite and keep a listener's interest/attention throughout a track. My favorite mix engineer is Andy Wallace, and I try to mirror his style as much as possible. I can mix anything, but I mostly enjoy all styles of drums/bass/guitar driven music. Punchy drums, thick guitars, deep bass, and present vocals are my specialty.
