Hello, I am Josh Lewis, an Audio Engineer and Producer in the greater Los Angeles are. I have experience working at professional commercial recording studios such as Firehouse Recording Studios in Pasadena, Ca. I also have a BA degree in Music and Music Industry Studies with emphasis in audio.
When mixing records, I provide that “larger than life” feel without losing the real band element. I love big drums (not sound replaced drums) singing in a room with loud guitars. When producing and/or writing I bring melody and emotion out without sounding trite and typical. In my opinion, there’s no formula for radio, just a killer song.
