Venezuelan Guitarist and Composer Juan Ernesto Velásquez creates melodic textures with a colorful spectrum of musical nuances. His music has roots in Latin America yet contains a blend of Spanish and Gipsy guitars, Popular Music, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Jazz, and World Music influences, resulting in experimental instrumental compositions.

I'm a professional jazz and classical bass player, musician. Member of the Modern Art Orchestra (played with Peter Erskine, Rebeka Bekken, Kurt Elling and others) and the Budapest Scoring Orchestra (recorded with Danny Elfman and works for Lucasfilm, Netflix, disney and more). I‘m a Double Bass teacher at Liszt Ferenc Acsdemy of Music.
