Seismic Sound is a professional audio mixing business located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. It is owned and operated by professional bassist and mix engineer Matt Ball. Matt has been involved in music for over 10 years and holds diplomas in both Recording arts and Music industry and performance from College of the North Atlantic.
MM Sound is a state of the art mastering studio since 1991. We work in all genres of music and have credits both national and international, such as Enigma, Wolfgang Petry, Udo Jürgens, Vagabundos de Lujo, Frank Farian, Dieter Bohlen and many more. Many Gold and Platinum awarded productions were mastered here and we are sure will be mastered here.
I spent a couple years running the recording studio at Vanderbilt University, before diving in professionally in the heart of Music City, TN. I'm a huge audio nerd, totally obsessed with making every project I work on my best one yet.
My strength is a strong understanding of compositional elements, and effective application of these ideas. I've especially worked and developed a exceptionally substantial understanding of the function of drum beats and elements of such. I can also draw from an extensive sample library to help for find the sounds you need for drums or other sounds.
