He later earned an MM in Jazz Studies (guitar) from the University of Oregon, and currently serves on faculty at Hope College, directing the new and growing Folk Music department.

The ondes Martenot is the most expressive and dynamic electronic instrument that uses pure waveforms, an idiosyncratic ribbon controller, and an extremely sensitive touche d'íntensité to produce an etheric voice akin to the Theremin.
