Ben Scanlon is a freelance mix engineer, and boom operator based in Greensboro.

I've been singing professionally since 2007, and I started singing/piano lessons and performing when I was 5 years old. I started songwriting and producing professionally in 2010.
The sound of my voice is my most powerful tool. It can carry a lot of emotions encase of its warmth, its raspiness on different notes but also because of my capability to feel empathy. I started rapping when I was 17 but everyone told me I shouldn't waste my voice on this because of my ability to touch souls with the sound of my singing voice.
With over 1 Billion streams on records I have collaborated on. I've had the pleasure to work with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Rudimental, Craig David and more.
I have been mixing live audio and multi-track recording for 30 years.
