Since 1980, JIM ZOLIS has provided industry pros + indie artists with his finesse and ability as a producer and engineer. Over the years, technology has evolved from 24 tracks of 2" analog recording to the industry standard 196ch+ Pro Tools hard disk recording, editing and mixing system. Today, Jim is still on the cutting edge of this technology!

I am music producer and mixing engineer based in Southampton, UK. I have a degree in Popular Music & Record Production from Southampton Solent University, and have completed Pro Tools 101 & 110 qualifications.
I'm passionate about creating the music artists hear in their heads. My definition of a successful mix is one that elicits emotion and communicates the full potential of a song.
it's been over 20 years since I am in the service of music and musicians. On the roads of five continents, behind a FOH or monitor desk, and in my studio? I love being on the road with artists whose albums I mix. I try never to forget that I am in the service of the music, not the technology, even though I'm a real geek.
