Soulful vocals. Tight harmonies. Ethereal textures. If you want emotion, clarity, and a professional vocal sound that elevates your track - I got you.
Hey, I’m Josh Olusanya - a London-based singer-songwriter and session vocalist with a passion for heartfelt vocals and dreamy textures. Whether you’re looking for rich background harmonies, smooth lead vocals, or carefully crafted ad-libs, I’ll bring your track to life with tone, feel, and precision.
I record high-quality vocals from my home setup, deliver on time, and LOVE collaborating with artists and producers across genres. My style is rooted in soul, reggae, R&B and pop - but I’m versatile, and always open to new sounds. Let’s make something beautiful together 🎶
Vocally, I'm predominantly influenced by female R&B/soul singers. I take inspiration from their vocal styles, habits, inflections etc and apply it to my baritone voice, which I think makes for a uniquely rich and engaging sound.
I’m currently offering an introductory rate of $50 per song for a limited time to build reviews here - so you get premium session vocals at a fraction of their usual value. :)

Interview with Josh Olusanya
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: My debut EP!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If you want to record a choir but don't have one, record yourself several times (at least nine I would say) making sure you've covered each harmonic line you want in there. For each block of takes, try you best to alter your voice e.g. by holding your nose or otherwise distorting your voice and experiment with recording takes at various distances from the mic.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: R&B, reggae, soul, pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My musical ear
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Soul, energy, personality, breathiness, belts, head voice, resonant low tones that only a baritone could provide ;)
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Listening to the track, working out harmonies that complement the section they're going to be in, recording/layering them using a combination of my ear and my keyboard to make sure they sound beautiful and tight
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Presonus E3.5 monitors, Rhode NT1-A condenser mic, Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface, Cubase Pro 14, Yamaha Piaggero NP-31 midi keyboard
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Mariah Carey, Babyface, Darkchild, David Foster, Diane Warren, Bryan Ferry, Bob Marley, India.Arie, Stargate, Sharleen Spiteri
