I listen to a lot of folk, indie, alternative rock, pop, rap, hip hop, classic rock, pop punk, and a host of other genres. I've been mixing for 40 years now. Seasoned studio guitar and bass parts. I've mixed hundreds of projects, written 1000s of instrumental background tracks for television/radio and mixed some great bands.
The guitar is my primary instrument. I play like Trey Anastasio, Jimi Hendrix, Nels Cline, Jerry Garcia, Nai Palm, Deen Ween, Ty Segall, and Avey Tare --- but I prefer to work on music centered around sampling and rhythm. Ableton is my box. Tascam porta studio 424 is my passion.

Launched and under the creative direction of Jan Kincl, Cycle operates as a music production studio, sonic branding agency and audio restoration specialist. We are a collective of producers, engineers, composers, and musicians walking a thin line between art and science.
