Gunnar Karel was born in Reykjavik, Iceland in 1984. He started studying music at an early age and has played a diverse range of instruments. As a composer Gunnar mainly focuses on chamber music as he finds that his music gets the attention it deserves in smaller setups.

I'm a professional pianist, keyboardist and arranger based in Siracusa, Italy. My background lays mainly in Jazz/R&B styles, although I like to experiment with various genres and different keyboard instruments. I run my own recording studio, where I compose, arrange and record music.
My team & I will lay down quality banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, upright bass, or steel guitar parts on your track. What sets me apart? I have a producer's ear.
