With 30 years of recoding experience and a keen ear for what a song needs, I can deliver professional drum tracks with solid feel, interesting parts and textures, and tons of vibe. I'm also a super nice guy who's easy and fun to work with.

I am currently the drummer for Bush, but I have toured and recorded with Andy Grammer, Bishop Briggs, Youngblood Hawke, Puddle of Mudd, Emily Osment, Iglu & Hartly, Ty Taylor and many more. I love tracking drums at my studio, doing what is needed for each song, with high quality tones and sounds crafted specifically for each track.

From recording the seminal cult-creating album Grace with Jeff Buckley to years of touring with the beloved St. Vincent, I've worked with a wide spectrum of artists over the past two decades including Rufus Wainwright, Angus and Julia Stone, and recently Miike Snow.

I'm a drummer and producer who writes and loves songs. I've devoted my life to the idea that every recording starts with a great song - that doesn't mean "complicated" or "award-winning" or "famous" - it means a song that's true - one that comes from an honest place. Groove is the most important part of a song. When I was coming up in bands I had the privilege of playing with Blake Mills and Matt Malley (Counting Crows) on sessions. I also learned a lot from the legendary Chris Currell of Michael Jackson. In production and drumming, I attempt to honor those great players and the grooves they create.

I'm a lifelong musician, from a family of musicians. As a multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboards), I have a passion for clarity and balance in mixes that allows each instrument and voice to speak with its unique timbre, all to heighten the emotional quality and connection of the song.
