Hello, I’m Max, a session and touring drummer based in Los Angeles, CA. When I'm not on the road, you can find me in my home studio in Laurel Canyon, which I’ve specifically designed for drum recording. I have the flexibility to create anything from super tight, dead sounds to a beautiful, natural room reverb—just by moving a few things around.

I believe the right parts, sounds, and feel are essential to a great song—though that’s probably a given! With a background in Jazz, Rock, and Americana, and a dynamic touch, I have the knowledge and experience to creatively bring the perfect sound and groove to life for your song, no matter the genre.

In my studio, I record live drums, percussion loops, layered sounds, and drum machines, all using a vast collection of modern and vintage drums and cymbals, along with unique percussive instruments from around the world. I also have access to top-tier microphones and recording gear to ensure your song reaches its highest potential.
