Hello there! My name is Bas Janssen and I am a Recording, Mixing & Mastering Engineer. I have been involved with playing all kinds of music my entire life and have been recording since I was 17 years old.
I am an experienced mix engineer with over a decade of shaping sound and refining music across live and studio environments. I have a proven track record working with artists, studios, and live events, I bring precision, creativity, and technical expertise to every project, ensuring the music not only sounds great but feels alive.
I have 15+ years of experience performing and recording as a Rapper, Singer-Songwriter, & more recently as a Music Producer / Mix Engineer in Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa). I work with a vast network of musicians from the region and I'd love to collaborate with you to bring out unique styles and sounds all while infusing some East African flavor.
Performing as a solo act for 8+ years has given me a great backdrop for studio success as a songwriter, session musician (Vocals, Keys, Acoustic Guitars, Programming), producer and more recently - Mix Engineer.
