I'm Khalif The Ruler (Previously Known as King Leaf) I'm a Songwriter, Music Producer as well as mixing and mastering engineer located in the Los Angeles area. I've done production and sound engineering for over 7 years.
As owner/engineer of The Boiler Room Studio in Providence, RI. I specialize in Hip Hop, R&B, POP and Reggaeton music. I Mixed an album for Mindless Behavior which topped the R&B Albums on the Billboard charts at number 3 behind Beyonce and Rihanna at the time.

My story:16 years of experience making and playing on recordings. I started as a session bass player and branched out into the engineering side- recording and mixing. I now have a healthy collection of gear: vintage and modern microphones, guitars, basses, keyboards, drums, plug-ins, and mixing/mastering capabilities. Basically a one-stop-shop.
A voice described by Rolling Stone as "charming" and "light-hearted". Classically trained vocally, with a BA in Songwriting and Music Composition. Over 10 years of collaborating within all genres.
