Groove is the most important part of a song. When I was coming up in bands I had the privilege of playing with Blake Mills and Matt Malley (Counting Crows) on sessions. I also learned a lot from the legendary Chris Currell of Michael Jackson. In production and drumming, I attempt to honor those great players and the grooves they create.
Apart from being a music lover, my end goal is to reflect the story behind the music. Whether that's shaping sonic landscapes or working with experimental sounds I'd love to bring any vision to life.
