Hi, I'm Vinicius Aquino, recording and mixing engineer, from Recife - PE - Brazil. I work with artists from a wide variety of musical genres and currently I have been working in my own room, in a hybrid system, using ProTools Ultimate, UAD DSP and several important plugins on the market.
I like going slightly experimental and psychedelicy but also appreciate beauty and appropriateness of every instrument and it's part in a song. Sometimes if I like the song I can get carried away and do some crazy unique sound effects or implement new ideas and provide alternatives without additional costs.
I've composed and scored lots of soundtracks for short/long movies and TV adds. Besides composing and scoring I recorded tracks in many studios for great artists in many music styles including rock, jazz, bossa nova, blues, samba and MPB.
I am a London based multi-instrumentalist specialising in Drums/Percussion, Piano/Keys, Production, Vocals, Accordion, Composition/Arranging and Songwriting.
