I'm one of you. My favorite recording motto is "if it works, it works." I'm an active songwriter/producer for my band Muchacho, and I get where you're coming from. Plugins, gear, yada yada yada… Gear is cool. Making your good music come to life is what matters most to me. I want to a creative partner that will make them sound good.
I have worked in live sound with top international artists, and at the same time I have had a lot of studio time with various artists and mixing engineerings. I work with both classical music and more popular music, such as hip-hop/rap/trap and alternative music.
