I started producing music on tape multitracks in the early 1990's. 25 years later, I'm now lucky enough to have the use of Teesside University's state-of-the-art Pro Tools HDX facility, and to work with some very talented people both at the university and at my record company, Coastline Records.

I am a production sound mixer and post-production audio engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I have worked on large scale feature films, independent film productions, advertisement, documentary but have also worked on guerrilla style shoots. My commercial portfolio includes brands like Nike, Samsung, Doritos, LinkedIn, Citibank/Citi Group, etc...

I love to create unique and genre combining musical themes and songs. I employ an unorthodox style of sampling and resampling (only royalty-free) music and sometimes eccentric sounds. I enjoy post-producing intricate details in songs to accompany the vocalists' ability and quirks. I strive for uniqueness and the organic flow of creating.

I work with independent bands and singer-songwriters for more than 20 years. Music is a wonderful and precious thing for me! Artists use music to tell their personal story. As a producer I am deeply concerned with capturing the energy that comes from this process.

Drawing on 15+ years of experience w/ songwriters, producers and agencies, as well as running a recording studio in partnership with Nike and Jordan Brand, I can take YOUR song from sketchy demo to fully produced track, drawing inspiration from artists like Bon Iver, The National, Sufjan Stevens, Noah Kahan, Lizzy MacAlpine and others.
