Naarai Michele is a young but experienced singer-songwriter in the greater Los Angeles area. In 2015, she wrote, vocal arranged and executive produced her EP, "On My Way". Producing music has been a passion since a teenager. When it comes to mixing/engineering, I've had the opportunity to learn from Grammy nominated engineer, Tre Nagella, while he engineered Kirk Franklin's "Losing My Religion" album. My inspiration stems from Wayman Tisdale, Ryan Leslie, and the great Timbaland. I'm all about creating, let's work!
After playing drums for 20+ years and starting as a touring artist over a decade ago, I have been recruited to play with artists and projects such as TR/ST, Le Butcherettes, A Place To Bury Strangers, White Sea, and alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt for HitRecord. I write lyrics and sing as well. As a woman, I test the stereotypes with grace.
