Hi, I'm Jens, Bass player, MD, producer from the Netherlands. As a versatile, professional bass player I love to collaborate with talented/creative people to make great art. I'm working with various producers and musicians in different genres, to create bass parts with the right sound, feel and energy, serving the writer's vision and song.
With 25 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a unique approach to every project. I specialize in crafting polished, innovative tracks that elevate your sound and connect with your audience. Soul, jazz, & reggae are my favourites but I’ve worked all around the world with artists spanning pop, salsa, Turkish R&B, rap & more. My last gig was at the Royal Albert Hall & I’ve composed for UNESCO. I’ve done Backing vocals for Grammy winners & nominees, toured from U.S to Tanzania and New Zealand. I love writing and collaborating.
I only offer my services to bass music artists and producers. This is because I believe in specialisation and I choose to focus all my efforts on this service to serve my clients' best interests.
