Hello, I'm Russ and I have been working as an engineer for over 15 years. I recently opened Hi-Fi Studios in Nashville, TN. We are a fully functional recording studio that produces young artists and bands. We have a full analog/digital hybrid set up to bring that major label sound. I am an alumni of Berklee College of Music, USA where I studied voice and piano. I have a Yamaha Grand Piano and a fully functioning home professional home set up for world class piano and vocals.
Versed in jazz, r&b and improv/electronic/progressive styles, I work in many genres and delivery formats. I've studied the masters of studio bass from the 70s onward, and I can provide everything from the "Steely Dan" bass sound to avant approaches. I'm a quick study, good reader and can develop unique bass lines for your project.
I make music.. Hiphop, Afrobeat, Dancehall, Reggae, Reggaeton and all rhythms I vibrate to.. this is my therapy and lifestyle. Performing arts, Freelance Recording Artist! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Musicianship from a full time professional music university in the UK so you can trust the process of any project I get involved with!
