I've been writing and producing rock/pop punk/emo adjacent music for over 20 years. Creating music has been by biggest passion since I was a teenager, and all I have ever wanted to do. I need to do it. So I'm always looking for fun projects to work on and people to collaborate with.

My name is Stefan Palen, I am a composer/arranger/trombonist/keyboardist located in teh DMV. I have studied w/Bobby Watson, Chen Yi, Zhou Long, Marcus Lewis, Joe Dee Davis, Steve Deeker, Greg Boyer and Mark A. Hardy. Currently I am recording my first album featuring: Deletta Gillespie , Greg Boyer, Tyler leak and many Washington dc locals.

I have worked with Nita Strauss on her debut album which went Number 1 on the Rock Billboards. And with Iya Terra on their album "Sacred Sound" that also charted at Number 1 for Reggae.

As a session musician I had the pleasure to work with various artists from all over the world such as Parov Stelar, Skales, Lee Anduze and many more.

Glenn Fricker said my playing was cool. I was hired for a guitar solo alongside Jacob Umansky (Intervals) for the song The Green Dragon. Professional bassist experienced in most commercial genres. I've played across America with dozens of bands/groups centralized in the KS/MO area.
