Multiple Grammy winning guitarist, arranger, and member of Snarky Puppy. I specialize in mixing genres; I studied jazz and funk, but I grew up on rock. I'm into punk, hip-hop, country, mariachi--you name it I've done the deep listening and I love to recreate different sounds. I also arrange for string sections, string quartet, and horns.

I've worked w/ many artists from Warner, Columbia, Sony, Universal etc. Bands w/ members of Dashboard Confessional, Avett Bros, Nappy Roots. Guitar is my passion. I am a multi award winning songwriter, musician & producer, with over 30 years experience & have had number 'ones' in over 30 countries including the US. After huge success with Right Said Fred, I am currently writing & producing with George Clinton/ Parliament, Funkadelic. I have also worked with Outkast, Lady Miss Kier (Deelite) and Sly Stone.

I can read music notation, chord charts, or learn a part by ear as well as improvise a part with the right artistic guide.
