Platinum Sound Recording Studios is a boutique recording studio in New York City, located on restaurant row in the theater district. Founded in 2000, the studio is one of the leading luxury commercial recording studios and has been the birthplace of countless Grammy-award winning projects for years.
My name is James, but most folks call me Jimmy. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in Christian Theology, but I record, mix, write, and produce on the side. I also do video work (B.S. in broadcast and music technology from SEU) I've worked with a lot of local artists and am looking to branch out.

I've worked alongside artists in the past including Ed Sheeran, Kelly Rowland & Sons of Zion, with millions of streams on my work globally.
I have performed, recorded, and toured with different acts all across the United States. Songs that I have written and performed have been placed on network television, and I have experience working with accomplished producers and engineers such as Bob Clearmountain and Mark Williams. I also have a degree in audio technology from Virginia Tech.
