Big - Bold - Vibey - Impactful... this is how I mix and produce pop/rock music. Having worked on nearly 1,000 songs in over 15 studios, I love connecting with artists, supporting their vision, and doing whatever it takes to turn the sound in their head into a finished mix. Thomas Wang joined Urban Sound Studios in november 2007 and is known for creating a signature sound which is fresh, big and atmospheric but with mainstream appeal. Aside from running the show in studio A & C he is an active musician and an aspiring industrial designer.
My passion for the last 20 years have been the art, science and voodoo of mastering music. Elevating a finished mix is (still) as rewarding as finding a diamond in the mud and washing it and polishing it to a fine shine. The true joy lies in providing a valuable service and handing the diamond over to the artist/band.
Coming from a bloodline of musicians has both crafted and developed my musical talents but has also given me the gift of listening to several styles of music and incorporating those different styles in my mixing and production.
