Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Cgm slug - mix engineer
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Just working on finding some new artists to work with and take to the next level if they are serious.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not particularly
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital with analog summing . Just the times I grew up in really lol .
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always do my best to provide you with what you want . I will never say forget what they think and do what I think . I will always respect the artist’s decision and what they feel is best . I will provide my input and what I think sounds better, but at the end of the day it is what they want and I respect that one hundred percent!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The art in each individual artists track.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How’d you get it that clear ? Eq / saturation How’d you get my vocal so smooth ? Compression/Multiband compression Do I need good recordings for a great mix ? Yesss
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People think mixing is way easier than it is .
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How would you like to take this ? What’s some things your looking for in this song? How present do you want the vocals? And Many More depending on the artists sound.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I’m trying to create the best environment for my artists for their ideas to come to life .

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Grew up building houses , had a passion for music when I was young and just started learning young because I loved to make people sound great and paint pictures for artists .
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I’m really laid back and chill . I try to make your ideas come true in your song, however we have to make it happen!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: No Cap Or Fresco Trey . I feel like I can really vibe with their music and who they are as a person.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always make sure you kicks are knocking by throwing a good limiter and a little compression with a slight eq to roll off rumble if needed.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Trap, Hip Hop, R&B
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal Mixing
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Beat- I bring more life to all the instruments by shaping eq and maybe some compression if need be depending on the session. Vocals - I can bring clarity , Width/Depth, As well as keeping body with some saturation for that vocal to really sit well in a mix
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to go from the drums to the bass to the music then to vocals on a stem . On a 2 track I like to tweak the beat to give it life then touch vocals and then process the mix bus .
