I love producing music, but the most fascinating stage is the mixing phase of the project. It is where all the magic happens and all the elements of the song come to life musically. A good mix can sky rocket a mediocre song. A bad mix can destroy a perfect one.

Jesse Barrera is a producer / songwriter from San Diego, CA. Currently living in Los Angeles, Barrera is known for his years of work playing with My American Heart and more recently his production work with various acts such as Tim Atlas, Tori Kelly, AJ Rafael, Us The Duo, Jeff Bernat, Gabe Bondoc, Jeremy Passion and many more.
I love music, and as a musician it is easier for me to understand what the music I'm about to work with needs to take it to the next level, always in complete communication with the you to create a sound that you actually love and want.
I'm a multi-instrumentalist and producer with 10+ years experience making my own music and composing for TV and films. My production technique is stylistically versatile, though indie electronic, pop, and RnB are my comfort zones.
