Ice House Recording is a dedicated songwriting, recording, and mixing studio located in a renovated ice factory in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania’s historic Lawrenceville neighborhood. Ice House Recording is owned by Ryan Neitznick and Jon Miller.
We offer a hybrid recording and mixing environment that includes vintage and modern analog equipment from Neumann, Universal Audio, Neve, API, Empircal Labs, Ashly, ART, and Yamaha, with digital recording technologies from Universal Audio, Logic, and Avid Pro tools. Ice House Recording’s microphone collection comes from countries throughout the world including Germany, Austria, Sweden, Australia, and the U.S.A.
