Over the past 8 years he has recorded and toured with Regina Spektor, Judy Collins, Don McLean and Interpol's Paul Banks, appearing on their most recent albums and concert broadcasts from around the world. Yoed Nir appears on more than 3000 albums worldwide as a cellist and/or arranger.

I've played for many greats, like J. Fraites of the Lumineers, Natalie Merchant, Brad Mehldau- including his Grammy-winning Best Album Finding Gabriel, for which I also hired the other strings. I recorded remotely for the Bafta-winning Best Score of Mood on BBC. I arrange, produce and mix with the aim of taking your music to its highest potential.

Hi! I'm a classically trained cellist with 20 years of experience recording with indie pop, Americana, and chamber folk bands. I've recorded at some notable studios (Tarbox, Wavelab, Sacred Heart) and am as comfortable creating/composing parts as I am reading them off the page.

I will create string arrangements and compositions for your song or film. I play violin, viola and cello and create string quartet arrangements, or a full string orchestra sound. I'm a Berklee grad and have twenty years of performing experience, and over 10 as a professional recording musician.
