Hello, my name is Ric, I am a Los Angeles native. I've been working in hip hop, r'n'b and pop for 20 years engineering. I really enjoy mixing music and being able to enhance and take your songs to a professional stream ready quality.

Hoboken HiFi is owned by dub producer Jim the Boss. Jim believes in giving everyone a unique and organic sound. He has risen in reggae communities as creator, along side his studio band, of the Hudson Soul sound which is a dry, crisp sound reminiscent of 1970s Channel One era reggae music.We also record Jazz, Soul, Blues, Latin, Calypso and Folk.

I've worked on Grammy Award winning projects as a sound engineer and musician! In post production for films I've done ADR, Sound Design and Foley, Re-Recording mixing as well as Production Mixing with a boom and lavs. Worked pro studios, but my home studio, SHADOW BOX STUDIO, has everything needed to produce great sounding music or film projects!
