Hello, I am a freelance Mix/Master engineer based out of Melbourne Australia, I work out of a small studio located in the washroom out the back of my house. I have spent an extensive amount of time, money and effort treating this space to get the best acoustic results possible, and am now ready to share this space with the world.

My name's Allan Rivas, and I've been engineering bands for over 7 years and through self taught experience behind the desk, I have learned everything through trial and error, a plethora of education and through experimentation. Using techniques that are normally considered "out of the box", I have developed a sound that I feel is my own.

I am currently a graduate of the Conservatory Of Recording Arts & Sciences. My experience in the Audio Industry is wonderful as in the past I have received a Game Audio Network Guild Award which I obtained in 2007 working with Sony Computer Entertainment America On the “God Of War II” Soundtrack.

Everything has it's unique place in the mix, even 50 guitar layers. I've mixed and mastered tracks from West Thebarton, BAD//DREEMS, Bolt Cutter, and Ethanol Blend, but specialise in atmospheric rock, stoner rock, pop-punk and shoegaze/dream-pop styles. I LOVE mixing and mastering anything with lots of reverb or thick fuzz.
