I work full time as a drummer and engineer. I've played in just about every recording situation and been in every type of studio. Large commercial studio or basement home studio. I've worked for some notable people, Bootsy Collins, Jimmy Haslip, and Jeff Lorber to name a few.
Makoto is drummer based in Los Angeles. He has been fortunate enough to work with some major artists including Gwen Stefani, Eve, Rickie Lee Jones, and Missing Persons just to name a few. He also has had the chance to play with great musicians in Los Angeles like Michael Landau, John Beasley, Jimmy Johnson, Jimmy Haslip, and Armand Sabal-Lecco.
Award Winning Platinum & Double Platinum Recording Engineer / Producer / Mixer - Credits include Number 1 albums for both Jake Bugg & The 1975's eponymous debut albums. Other credits include : The Gaslight Anthem, James, Amber Run, The View, Lewis Watson. I have also worked in the studio with artists such as Wolf Alice & Circawaves etc.
