I also love creative mixing and performing on records. My ethos is built around about creative and artistic approaches to artist-centered production and mixing.

I love to work with artists who have a creative vision and prioritize songwriting. My workflow is completely built around each project and I don't have any consistent "tricks" or "sounds" I rely on to achieve a creative recording. I frequently work with bands and solo artists in the indie/americana/indie-rock/folk communities.

I love finding new sounds and new ways to accomplish emotional and evocative recordings through collaboration with artists. I like to think of my role as not necessarily imprinting my own sensibilities but becoming a 'magnifying' glass on the artists identity and trying to distill the unique characteristics that make that songwriter and their art feel connected.

On the technical side, I frequently try to use experimental techniques, tape/analog tools, and whatever feels inspiring to achieve a unique product for my clients. I have the ability to mix completely analog and completely ITB and everything in between at my home mix studio.

The most important thing to me is communication with my clients and always prioritizing their needs and their vision.

I frequently play on the records I work on. Love adding creative instruments and sounds. Bass, Guitar, Keys, Percussion etc...
