You might say I’m a transient of sorts—moving from DAW to DAW, mic to mixing, mixing to mastering. There’s no limit on my output. I can work in the box and think outside of it. Whether it’s mixing great tunes, producing VO and dialogue or creating amazing sound design, I find joy in the process of creating world-class audio.
My passion for music began at an early age when I learned to play the guitar and formed a band. This hobby led me to develop my own skills in music production in a self-taught manner but also by taking part in a music production & sound technology course. Now, I have a fully formed 360° approach to developing music.
With a background in musical theatre and a side passion in heavy rock, EM-Jay Media is a versatile audio provision business with an interest in helping niche passion projects, home recordings, and local talents get the attention they deserve.
I have exercised my music talents towards much larger audiences. Most recently I have been landing gigs at nightclubs and party cruise ships in Tel Aviv, Isreal and Manhattan, NY. This past year, Charel has shared the stage with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Lil Tjay at well-known New York City nightclubs.
