Charles is a great artist, great singer, both creative and atypical, with whom it is easy and pleasant to work. I recommend without hesitation and look forward to working with him again !

Charles is awesome to work with both music and personality wise.
Involved with the project just the right amount, gives great information and feedback. Definitely a team player.
The music was some of the most beautiful I have ever worked on. And his vocal range is really something to behold, not just pitch range but also dynamic and tonal range. Blessed to work with this guy!

Charles sent the most beatiful song I ever heard on soundbetter ! Cooperation was exemplary.
I would highly recommend him. - check_circleVerified (Client)
CPIII is a great client who has just the right amount of "knows what he wants". Not so much that it makes him hard to work with but not so little that you're left in the dark on how to produce him.
Also what an amazing singer! Great vibrato and range.

I had great time working with Charles on his song! I hope to work with him again!
Interview with CPIII
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To give you something that you are truly happy with and that you connect to.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Ask all of the questions! Clarity and comfort are important!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Practice practice practice before recording! This saves hours of time! When laying down vocals (especially with lots of harmonies), it's so important to get everything as close as possible. That includes all slides, cutoffs, breaths, inflections, tones, vowel placement, and even vibrato speed and placement.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Pop music. I love all kinds of music, but if I had to choose one genre, it would be Neo Folk Soul.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Singing, with pop songwriting being a close second.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my unique life experience, my skillful songwriting, and my nuanced vocals.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It really depends on the project, but for toplining, I'll get as much information from you, including references, singers, lyric ideas, etc before starting. I immediately hum and record when I first hear the track (it tends to be the most natural melody when done this way.) Sound usually comes before words for me. If we are working with an idea, I will let that guide the lyric writing. If not, I let the words come to me that same way the melody comes to me. I love what Michael Jackson said (I'm paraphrasing): "I don't create a song. I discover the song that's already there."
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Moses Sumney, Lianne La Havas, Laura Mvula, Shoshana Bean, and Matt Corby to name a few. Their vocals are incredible!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I've mostly done a lot of toplining, which I love to do! Since music production isn't my best skill, I work really well with producers who need catchy lyrics and melodies to finish their songs.
