Record producer & Mix engineer

Dax Liniere - Puzzle Factory on SoundBetter

With a reputation for crafting distinctive and powerful mixes, Dax approaches every project with musicality, attention to detail and a desire to create something unique for each artist. Nothing makes Dax happier than a great sounding record and he will match the passion that you bring to your music.

Multi-award winning producer & engineer Dax Liniere's experience working with diverse musical genres, providing production, recording, mixing and mastering services at a world-class standard earned him a Winston Churchill Fellowship in 2012. In 2013, Dax was twice dubbed Producer of the Year in separate annual awards.

After 15 years of running Puzzle Factory Sound Studio in Australia, 2016 saw Dax relocate to the UK and, in 2017, hand-built & opened London's newest premium studio complex, featuring 3 control rooms, 2 live rooms and an assortment of the best gear money can buy. All rooms have abundant sunlight and a modern, but warm design aesthetic.

While some producers are known for a particular sound or a certain method, Dax views the entire concept of audio production differently. “Recording should never be about one rigid way of doing things.”
Instead, Dax thinks the best production jobs are those that have met the demands of the music and the motives of the artist. There is only one rule: “it's gotta sound good!”

A guest columnist for AudioTechnology magazine and student of some of the world’s top engineers and producers, including Alan Moulder, Michael Brauer, Joe Chiccarelli and Flood, Dax has the experience to see your project through from beginning to end.
