Tristan Barton on SoundBetter

Australia Based Composer, specialising in composition for film and commercial advertising.

I'm an Australia based composer with a focused interest in creating music for visual media. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Music, I worked as a session drummer/percussionist, recording and performing live shows across the country. I gradually developed a penchant for composing music and came to appreciate the relationship it shared with multimedia.

I grew to admire the world of media and was able to acknowledge how much music connected an audience to a visual medium. I currently compose music for publishing, stage/theatre productions, commercial advertising and film. I'm always looking to extend myself into other areas of production, consistently looking for new sonic interests and am constantly inspired to reinvent my approach to music and sound production.

I am currently published with Art-List Media (artlist.io), Shutterstock, Premium Beat and Hive Music.
