Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I worked on a short film named "The Bull". It was my first short film score and I enjoyed it immensely!
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Adverts for major advertising clients, and a short film.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not that I know of.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! Each has there purpose.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will deliver a product to the best of my ability that both you and I will love.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The limitless creativity
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Where did you learn how to do what you do? I taught myself.....and cried a lot on the way!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I press a button and it all magically happens, lol.

A: First; What is it? Second; Whats your budget?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't hesitate to ask me anything, i won't bite. Happy to discuss direction and budget, in order to make your project happen.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Drums, iMAC, Solar powered generator, Head phones, Interface
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been producing/composing music professionally for 4 years now. I endeavour to become a prolific film score writer and producer.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Ritcher-esc, but very melancholic.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Olafur Arnalds. I would love to understand his process and how he comes to appreciate the space in between sounds.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Less is, more often than not, always more!

A: Film Music & Advertising Music
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Composing and writing for Film.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Vibe, finished product, and honesty
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I typically wait until I get a brief, then I discuss the intended goal or outcome of the project. I then start throwing ideas together. Once I have established the main concept behind "said" project, I will then mock up some preliminary concepts and get the ok for the director/producer to continue. I then wait for a rough edit, sometimes a final cut, and customise the composition to fit the visual narrative.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have an at home studio, running everything through a Mac Mini. I use KRK Rokit 8 speakers and also have a EIE Akai Pro interface. My software plugins include a variety of spitfire, 8dio and Native Instruments VST's. I also have full access to a full recording studio to do spotting sessions and/or more elaborate recordings.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am regularly inspired by Film composers of every genre, in particular I am interested in any new projects that finds either Johan Johannsson or Olafur Arnalds at the helm.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I custom compose music for projects in film and advertising. I also regularly co-write/produce music with established artists.
