VERY versatile voice. Soulful, rich, and clear tone. Can be sultry, pop, jazzy, ethereal, or quirky. Often compared to Adele, Norah Jones, Fiona Apple, Sara Bareilles.

I effortlessly create a bed of harmonies for your melody to shine over. Whether you need a modern track, a throwback vibe, or a classic sound, my voice lives easily in almost any genre: pop, soul, jazz, blues, or folk, or singer-songwriter.

“I started singing at the age of 6 and haven’t stopped since. Literally.” Ionie got her start competing in high-level performing arts competitions, attending NYU for vocal performance, and working on the NYC live music circuit for 5 years. She currently lives in Los Angeles.

"Ionie has one of those haunting, Fiona Apple-like voices that you could hear just once and never forget." -Refinery29

It was an absolute joy to work with Ionie. She helped me with lyrics and vocals for two new songs. The result of the work was fantastic and I encourage you to collaborate with her if you get an opportunity,

Ionie is a find. Beautiful, sultry voice. Communicative and pleasant. Intuitive. Dynamic. It turns out she is just the kind of singer you would be lucky to find on Sound Better. I am lucky.

A consummate Pro! I’ve personally worked with Ioni as well as recommended her to several musician friends of mine...and everyone has agreed...she’s got the goods. As a lyricist and top-line writer she has a unique and sophisticated point of view; as a vocalist she’s highly skilled and soulful; as a person, very easy to give direction to as well as sweet. I look forward to creating with Ioni every time. :)))
