I was in a band called protect the dream a few years ago. We came into contact with Mikey and had him mix our EP of about 5 songs & were not disappointed one bit. He is a very persistent guy who works tirelessly to make sure your band sounds exactly the way you want it to. He's also pretty fucking hilarious, which is a plus when you have to spend that much time with someone. Great end result.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Hybrid, best of both worlds.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That anyone named DJ with a MacBook can do what i do.

A: Hire a professional
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a hybrid set up; ProTools 12, A bunch of plug-ins, A few pieces of choice outboard board gear, Slate Raven, and what makes it a hybrid are 20 channels of Tube-Tech analog summing.

A: I've been lucky enough to work with several, Andy Johns, Eddie Kramer, Chris Lord-Alge, Ben Grosse, and Neal Pogue, to name a few.

A: I'm mainly a mixer but can do just about anything.
