Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
I produced on chainz felt like cappin project & it felt good because there was only like 6 records and all of them were producers like Timbaland, TM, Cardo,Mike Will & Zaytoven and to see my name listed next to those guys was an honor. i grew up influenced (& still) by them
How would you describe your style?
Psychedelic meets streets/trap.. I like using distortions/phaser & a lot of reverb/reversed reverbs!
Analog or digital and why?
digital because its what ive grown up on. got love for analog but i dont really care to hear a trap kick go through a ssl4G or anything analog.. there a plug-in for that too!
What's your 'promise' to your clients?
What do you like most about your job?
The different stories I hear & the different styles. its crazy what someone thinks is trash is another mans/womens treasure
What questions do you ask prospective clients?
What dont you like first?
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Hire someone dedicated to the project, not someone thats there just to get a check. takes a team
Which artist would you like to work with and why?
2 chainz I feel we work well.. he compliments my kind of old school roots but street/trap influence. its always exciting hearing what hes done when we workbecause I know its going to be so left field!
Can you share one music production tip?
dont duplicate your structures, most artist are going in to a studio to record on a 2 track they got in the email.. give the engineer(s) options when it comes time to edit
What type of music do you usually work on?
What's your strongest skill?
speed & quality, I like to work fast because ideas come & go and when the artist says something like "aye I got an idea" I like to be able to just do it right there & then and go "like this?"
What do you bring to a song?
my production mindset, it betters the session if im editing, especially when clients bring 2 tracks in.. i kind of look at it as a demo or an idea from the original producer. sometimes i leave it depending on the vibe or direction other times i rearrange. the hook (part in the beat) on the 2 track may work better as a verse or in the intro can be the hook all depends on the direction.

Mike Dean, KY , Mike Bozzi, Ali , Tumay
