Guitarist, producer and mixer, working in London. 32 years of experience. Produced, recorded and mixed with various - Catrin Finch and Seckou Keita, BBC concert orchestra and Benji Kirkpatrick. Audio Lead/Director of game audio teams for Sony among others.
I've had a varied career, working in music production and game audio. I started playing the guitar in my early teens and became interested in electronic music when the rave scene emerged. I ran a small lottery funded studio with my dad, where I learned how to record, mix and produce. I had a live DnB act, and work recording different local folk artists, which provided contrast and experience with different styles of production.
I began writing music for games in the early 2000s and began a long period leading game audio teams. Lots of experience with sound design, middleware and game engines. I worked as an Audio Director, with artists like Nitin Sawhney, Noisia and Combichrist. Game credits include Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, DmC: Devil May Cry, Fable Legends, Dreams.
I've kept a hand in music production throughout this time, working with Seckou Keita on most of his albums. I've also had my own projects, including a collaboration with vocalist Tina Grace (Nitin Sawhney collaborator). The album features artists like Manu Delago, Leo Abrahams and Leo Taylor.
I am now working as a freelance producer, mixer etc, working from my own project studio in London. Suitable for vocal recording and featuring a healthy array of synths and guitars. I can polish your existing tracks, or help you realise a song from a simple idea. Guitar sessions also possible.

Working with Tom was an absolute game-changer for my project. It’s rare to find someone who is equally elite as a guitarist, producer, and mixer. He didn't just 'work' on my tracks; he breathed life into them. His guitar layers added a professional polish I couldn't achieve elsewhere, and his final mix brought a clarity and punch that made the song radio-ready. Communication was seamless, and he truly cared about the vision. If you want your music to sound like a major label release, hire Tom. 5 stars isn't enough!

Tom is a lovely human being. He is also a great technical and creative force which means working with him brings out the best in you and really special things tend to happen. I would work with Tom in a heartbeat, he's just ace.

Tom is a thorough professional - skilled, responsive and sensitive to the needs of who he is working with. I have known Tom for nearly 9 years now and he has worked with me with live guitar performances at several of my concerts over the years. His has a vast skillset and considerable experience but is very down to earth and approachable and works with compete integrity and authenticity.. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tom for projects related to any of the categories mentioned here.
