My name is Alan Keary and I am a string specialist and arranger with over 8 years of experience. I'm a multi - instrumentalist who can play violin, viola, cello & double base. I write everything from traditional string arrangements to unique sonics using spring reverbs and analogue delays.
"I have worked with Alan Keary intermittently over the last year on a wide and diverse range of projects. These include Neville Staple of The Specials, various orchestrated podcasts and talking books and more recently the new Intastella and Jah Wobble album which has already achieved chart success. Not only are Alan's string arrangements imaginative, he is a consummate all-round musician with innovative ideas that are always fitting to the project."

Hello! As mentioned above I am a string arranger who can provide you with a traditional string quartet arrangement, having said that I am also a highly experienced improviser and can lay down multiple passes of improvised violin ,viola or cello for you to mess around with for no added cost.
I regularly like to experiment routing violins and cellos through various toys like guitar amps, spring reverbs, analogue delays and tape machines. (See soundlink) These sonics could provide your track with a unique vibe whilst still delivering the emotion of a live violin or cello. If you're looking for something different other than your traditional string arrangements then I'm your guy!
