Creative and passion small town guitarist with big league tones. I've spent the last 15 years and hundreds of songs honing my craft on guitar, composition and recording and would love to work on your project. Rock and Metal guitar is my specialty, but I welcome all genres and projects. Let's work together and make something special!
Hello! My name is Joshua, and I am a songwriter, guitarist and studio engineer. I offer professional guitar, editing, mixing, and mastering services with the latest high quality equipment. Crafting and recording guitar solos are my specialty, which I have been developing for 15 years. As a fellow songwriter, I understand the importance that a lead or solo brings to the song: it should be well crafted, tailored to the song and improve the song, not just take up 20-30 seconds.
For guitar, I can write/record standard rhythm tracks, leads, atmospheric or otherwise. My favorite thing in the world is composing and recording rock/metal guitar solos, but I also welcome the challenge of genres! Check out my Guitar Solo reel for a feel of my style (heads up: it's kind of long, but I wanted plenty of examples for potential clients)
I am also experienced in using "unique" guitar effects such as the Whammy Pedal (Tom Morello, Muse, Buckethead) and the Talkbox (Peter Frampton, Alice In Chains)
If you are interested in having your recordings edited, mixed and mastered with professional quality in mind, don't hesitate to contact me.
For Electric Guitar Recording, I have the following available:
PRS Guitars (6,7,8 String)
Taylor Acoustic Guitars
Gibson Les Paul
Fender Strat
Diezel VH4 Amplifier, Various Marshalls
Kemper Profiler
Fractal Axe Fx 3

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Check out the reviews I have left :)

A: My guitar fundamentals are peppered with hints of Zeppelin, Muse, Slash and Metallica. The last several years I’ve made an effort to diversify my playing, and always welcome the challenge of a less familiar style or genre.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Truthfully, any inspiring musician excites my musical sense. But I would love to write with Matt Bellamy of Muse.
