I have been producing music professionally for 9 years.

My main genres are EDM, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Orchestral (for short films or commericals). I'll let my work speak for itself instead of bragging, so let's work and make something great.

I include mixing and mastering in every project I work on, using top of the line equipment and plugins. I am happy to help with the project in any way I can.

    AMAZING WORK!!!

Interview with Man Cub

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Both. Both are great and have their own good characteristics.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: I just love making good music.

  5. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  6. A: Nobody has a clue what music producers do.

  7. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  8. A: What feeling or emotion do you want to convey? What should the energy be like? Are you trying to express something; if so, what? Who are your main creative influences? Mainstream or alternative?

  9. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  10. A: Come in having a creative direction and current musical inspirations. That way I know how to approach the song.

  11. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  12. A: My piano, my acoustic guitar, a Juno-60, my drum samples, and a Moog Voyager.

  13. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  14. A: To be a music producer! 8 years.

  15. Q: How would you describe your style?

  16. A: Powerful, fun, and creative.

  17. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  18. A: Skrillex because Skrillex.

  19. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  20. A: If a lead sound or vocal is too sharp, use the Fletcher-Munson curve along with some compression to soften it up without taking away its strength in the mix.

  21. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  22. A: Dance/Pop/EDM/Electronic/Worship

  23. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  24. A: I have a really full sound! And the quality/clarity of the mix is paramount to me.

  25. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  26. A: Creativity and thinking outside the box; but I can do commerical stuff too.

  27. Q: What's your typical work process?

  28. A: The approach usually involves allowing myself to get carried away creatively; I go back and change all the minor details later. If I'm given creative direction by an artist or if I have some inspiration, the process is usually smoother. I typically start by writing something on the guitar or piano.

  29. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  30. A: Professional home studio - professional KRK speakers, small mixing board, audio interface, mic/instrument preamps, Fender Telecaster, Prophet 12, Modular Synthesizer, Korg MS-20, and full size midi piano for songwriting.

  31. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  32. A: The Beatles are legendary songwriters, so they inspire me to write great music! Avicii has such a fun, timeless sound that I love. Porter Robinson inspires me to push my creative boundaries and to think outside the box.

  33. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  34. A: Production - writing/producing a song from scratch to be sung over or to be used as an instrumental. Ghost Production - same concept and you get all the credit as if you created it. Beat Proudction - hip-hop beat from scratch for rapping over or to be used as an instrumental.
