I send over initial rough melodies and lyrics for you to give feedback on, and we go back and forth, incorporating your feedback, until you are satisfied with the full song. Revisions are unlimited. Once approved I record final vocals, delivered as industry level, high quality vocal stems.

Interview with Beth Mills
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I spent about 3 months recording 500 phrases on every single note in my 5 octave range and a tech company has now got a digital copy of my voice. It's not the same as having a live singer, but it's pretty cool tech & great for layering vocals / creating demos etc.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your turnaround time ? What is the song for, is it a demo for pitching or a song for release ? Do you have any references ?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be as clear as you can with your vision. I want to bring your vision to life, so the more references you can throw at me the better.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I studied Music Performance and Production at LCCM, and have worked as a Session Singer, Writer, and Artist ever since.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Find your own sound.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Commercial Pop, and EDM.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocally I have a 5 octave range, which is rare. I have a commercial sound with a mix/belt, but can also capture the soft and subtle emotional depths.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: aside from my 10,000 hours ;-) I'd say total commitment to the clients vision.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For Songwriting, clients will mostly share an existing instrumental along with some references for me to get going on. I usually start with the hook and give them a couple of options to choose from before continuing to build the whole song.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio set up is: iMac, Logic Pro X studio software, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface and a choice of Shure SM7B Cardioid Dynamic microphone or SE Electronics SE2200 Condenser. Vocals recorded in isolated sound booth.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I value Music with purpose and mission.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most frequently clients hire me to write toplines for commercial pop, and then record the vocals once written.
